Yes, you can now get Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus together for $120 a year. Walmart launched the bundle on October 20, 2026, and it costs the same as Sam’s Club Plus did on its own, so the Walmart+ membership is effectively included at no extra charge. Walmart says that’s almost $100 less than paying for both separately. Here’s what you get, how to switch if you already have one of the memberships, and the fine print worth knowing before you sign up.

What is the Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus bundle?

According to Walmart’s announcement, Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus became available together for $120 a year starting October 20. Walmart pitches it as the equivalent of $10 a month, though Fox Business reports that it’s sold only as an annual membership, with no monthly option and no free trial.

Walmart CEO John Furner framed it as getting more from a membership for less: “For $120 a year, we’re raising expectations for what a membership can deliver: more money in their pockets and more time to call their own.”

The math behind the “almost $100” claim is simple. Fox Business puts the standard annual Walmart+ plan at $98 and Sam’s Club Plus at $120, so buying both separately came to $218. The bundle drops that to $120.

What’s included for $120 a year

You get the main perks of both programs. Based on Walmart’s release and the Sam’s Club help page for the bundle, that includes:

  • Sam’s Club access with member-only prices on brand-name products and Member’s Mark items.
  • Free delivery from Walmart on eligible scheduled orders of $35 or more (most Marketplace items are excluded).
  • Free delivery from Sam’s Club on eligible orders of $50 or more at participating locations; otherwise an $8 fee applies.
  • A streaming service: your choice of Peacock Premium or Paramount+ Essential, both ad-supported. You can switch once every 90 days.
  • Gas savings of up to 10 cents a gallon at more than 17,000 participating stations (5 to 10 cents in Alabama).
  • 2% Sam’s Cash on qualifying pre-tax in-club purchases and curbside pickup orders, capped at $750 per 12-month membership.

How it compares with Amazon Prime

The bundle is widely seen as Walmart’s latest swing at Amazon. Retail Dive called it “another challenge to Amazon Prime from the retail giant,” and Fox Business notes that Prime costs $139 a year, $19 more than the bundle.

The two aren’t identical, though. Prime is built around fast shipping on a huge online catalog plus its own video and music perks. The Walmart bundle leans on physical stores: warehouse-club shopping, gas discounts and grocery delivery from stores near you. Which one is worth it depends on where you actually shop. If you already make regular Sam’s Club runs and buy groceries at Walmart, the bundle covers more of your routine. If most of what you buy comes from online orders, Prime may still fit better.

How to get the bundle if you’re already a member

Walmart has laid out a path for each type of existing member:

  • Walmart+ annual members: switch to Walmart+ with Sam’s Club Plus for $22 more a year.
  • Sam’s Club “Club” members: upgrade to Sam’s Club Plus for $60 more a year and get Walmart+ included. Sam’s Club says the exact upgrade price depends on how much time is left on your current term, and you’ll see it before you confirm.
  • Sam’s Club Plus members: activate Walmart+ at no extra cost by linking your accounts.
  • Already paying for both? Link your Walmart+ and Sam’s Club accounts. Walmart says most members are eligible for a prorated refund on Walmart+.

You can join, upgrade or link accounts in the Walmart or Sam’s Club apps, or at walmart.com/plus/samsclub. In the Sam’s Club app, existing Plus members can go to Account and choose Link Accounts, then sign in to or create a Walmart+ account.

New members

If you don’t have either membership, you can sign up for the $120 plan online or at the membership desk in any Sam’s Club, according to Sam’s Club.

The fine print worth knowing

The Sam’s Club FAQ answers several questions that could change whether the bundle makes sense for you.

Your accounts stay separate

Linking doesn’t merge anything. You’ll still use the Walmart app for Walmart shopping and the Sam’s Club app for Sam’s Club. Orders, purchase history, saved payment methods and rewards stay separate, and Sam’s Cash and Walmart Cash don’t combine.

Only the primary member gets Walmart+

The included Walmart+ membership is tied to the primary member on the Sam’s Club Plus account. Complimentary and add-on members on your Sam’s Club membership don’t automatically get Walmart+ benefits. Walmart+ does allow the primary member to share certain benefits with one eligible household member, but that has to be set up separately.

Amex cardholders should do the math

If your American Express card currently covers a monthly Walmart+ membership, that credit doesn’t apply to the new $120 plan. Sam’s Club says that if you upgrade, you’ll no longer see the monthly statement credit. For some cardholders, keeping the free Walmart+ benefit and skipping the bundle may be the better deal.

Canceling ends both

If you cancel the $120 membership, you lose both Sam’s Club Plus and Walmart+ at the end of your current term. Downgrading from Plus to a basic Club membership also ends your Walmart+ benefit when the Plus membership expires.

Business and tax-exempt accounts

Walmart Business accounts aren’t eligible, so you’ll need a personal Walmart.com account. Sam’s Club tax-exempt status also doesn’t carry over to Walmart; you’d need to set that up separately.

Is the bundle worth it?

For anyone who already pays for both memberships, it’s an easy call: link your accounts and look for the refund. For current Sam’s Club Plus members, it’s a free upgrade. Walmart+ annual members pay $22 more for warehouse-club access and Sam’s Cash, which can pay for itself quickly if you shop at Sam’s Club even a few times a year.

It’s a closer call for people who rarely visit a Sam’s Club, don’t drive much, or already get Walmart+ through a credit card. Before you buy, add up what you’d realistically use over 12 months, since there’s no trial and no monthly plan to test it out.
